The story of MWPR starts in 2012 when Matt decided to leave the company he was working for in Mornington and move to Kerang where his family were living and start his own business. Matt worked casually for a local farmer doing maintenance farm work while he waited for business to boom. Around 12 months later, Matt finished up the maintenance work as there was enough work coming in to keep Matt busy. Soon he was flat out plumbing full time for himself. We employed our first apprentice in late 2016. 2018 saw the purchase and opening of the shop front, office and shed in Wellington Street, Kerang. Jacqui & Vicki take care of the office and maintain the administrative side of things but Vicki also makes everyone laugh and provides bulk treats! Our children, Charlie and Maggie are always floating around somewhere, and we have several school aged kiddo’s and friends always keen to help out with labouring during the holidays. We hope all our clients will comfortably find their place in our extended family. Matt works passionately and tirelessly to ensure his team maintain the upmost levels of service for our customers and we strive to place MWPR at the forefront of the local plumbing industry.
